Rules & Regulations

  • Each competitor must follow the waymarked paths. If you lead out of the way or get lost, call the organizers.
  • Don’t leave the race without notifying the organizers.
  • In order to reduce the environmental impact the Aid Stations will not distribute plastic bottles or provide plastic cups. Be sure to carry water containers.
  • The use of stimulants, alcohol and other prohibited and / or dangerous substances is forbidden.
  • All competitors must follow strictly the instructions of the judges and the rest of the crew.
  • MTB racers are required to have the necessary equipment for this type of riding (helmet, gloves, etc.)
  • Competitors without such equipment will not be allowed to start All competitors must give assistance to anyone in need of help – be it another competitor, volunteer, race personnel or tourist even if this would cause a delay
  • The course of the race passes through public and private property and will not be closed to people who do not participate in the race! Make sure you pass safely, even if it leads to lower your pace or stop! While crossing towns and roads, please make sure you follow all traffic rules!
  • There will be aid stations and checkpoints at appropriate locations on your track. Water, sports drinks and food to competitors will be provided.
  • At each Aid Station there will be an information board showing:
    • The name of the Aid Station
    • The name of the next Aid Station
    • The distance to the next Aid Station
    • The total elevation gain to the next Aid Station
  • Medical personnel, members of the rescue teams and Aid Station’s personnel is authorized to stop any competitor whose physical and mental condition does not allow to continue participating in the race. If so occurs, then participants must provide their BIB number to the stuff.
  • If you find it impossible to continue participating in the race, we recommend you to reach the nearest Aid Station, which may mean going back.
  • In the event of an accident where you are on a route between two points and you cannot reach any of them individually, contact the organizers using the phone printed on the BIB number.
  • Rescue operations by the Mountain Rescue Service will not be covered by the organizers. Make sure you have adequate mountain insurance.
  • The organizer reserves the right to cancel or suspend the competition in whole or in part at any time when it is required for security reasons in cases directly threatening the lives and health of participants or volunteers.
  • The organizer reserves the right to suspend the participation of one or more competitors if they consider that their health or life is in danger.
